Went on 8/12/2023 @ 9:00 am! Easy check in, boarding! Parking great! Captain and deck hand were AWESOME! They both interacted great with customers! Got to see dolphins and large Jelly’s! Great experience!
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this adventure. All I know is I wanted to experience it! Parking is very hard to find. This was the only drawback I had. You have to park at the edge seafood place. Once we boarded the pontoon boat and took the short ride about 15 minutes. We anchored close to the food vendors which was nice. I really wanted to try them, but just didn’t happen. The kids and my wife had an amazing time. The prices are responsible as I paid for 7 of us to go out. I would definitely recommend this for anyone! Great job guys! Now just work on the parking.
We went out in the morning for the four hour trip and it was amazing. Captain Nick and Brandon were amazing people. Helped anyone who had a question and called over any vendor when you wanted something. We also did the firework cruise and while waiting for the fireworks captain nick was able to find some dolphins for every one to enjoy watching. At the end of the trip my four year old daughter was saying "I love that captain." Also Nick had amazing food recommendations for dinner.
This review is for the shuttle boat only. We went yesterday and had such a good experience overall. Booking was easy with plenty of email and text reminders with clear instructions. All of the staff we interacted with were kind and caring. Crab Island was amazing. We got to enjoy about half our time there before the jellyfish invaded. Not to worry! The Captain took us to a nearby beach where we got to enjoy the rest of our time. A lot of the people who were hanging at Crab Island and even some of the smaller vendors made their way to our beach too. I saw the Captain walking around the water and keeping eyes to make sure the rest our our time was jelly-free. Thanks so much for a great experience!
Wonderful experience!! The captain and deck hand, Ian and Zach made the trip one to remember. Their hospitality and welcoming personalities were top notch!!! Hey boss, these boys deserve a raise!! Definitely going back next year.
Where do I begin. Looks exactly like the pictures so much fun we brought our own snacks and drinks and we even went out and found two vendors just to help support the whole thing. The young man and young lady who were captain of the boat we’re just amazing, so nice to see young people, thriving and excited and loving their jobs, thank you for a wonderful experience
The Crab Island Shuttle and Boat Adventure folks were great. The caption and crew were knowledgeable and professional. The pictures on the website just were not representative of the Crab Island. The water was not blue / green and clear. It was a brownish / yellow with a ton of boats and people. To me it was not really great for young kids nothing really for them to do. We had our granddaughter with us. Thank goodness there was the adventure park before Crab Island. She enjoyed that portion but not Crab Island. Crab Island is really more geared towards young people / college kids for the party atmosphere.
Best excursion in Destin! We had several diff ages of kiddos we had a blast 1hr 15 min was plenty to bounce around ,we kayak, we paddle board then we spent 1 hr15 min at crab island got snacks & drinks take $$ cash/card we also took a cooler with extra water , no big Coolers I took a cooler bag from Walmart laid it on its side & it fit under my seat. We took 1 towel & water socks, hat sunblock crew was awesome so fun & accommodating our boat had to go back for a teenager left in the restroom but they quickly turned around to go back !!! If you want to sit & not swim this is not your excursion but you can still walk around in the water buy souvenirs it literally is a shopping center on water , our captain had frisbee,Frisbee,, extra to throw around or bring a float whichever but again great,best,awesome excursion!!
